We visited Fabulous Hearing at 8881 Fletcher Parkway, Suite 103 on April 10, 2009. Mr. Walter Kelly, Jr. greeted us warmly and gave us a complete and professional hearing test. We were sure, at our age, that considerable hearing loss had occurred. Walter's exam bore this out by providing precise data to show what frequencies and intensities were most affected. We tried several hearing aids, and with Walter's care, and considerable adjustments, we were pleasantly surprised at the improvement in our hearing.
We purchased four hearing aids that day (left and right ears for two people), and have had three follow up appointments to "tune" comfort and hearing levels as we get used to the additional sounds. Walter has given us as much time as we have needed, and shown considerable expertise in adjusting the comfort, fit, and sound levels. The four channels available on our models have provided a degree of auditory comfort in different noise environments that are more than we had expected. We are able to set channels with background filtering that allows us to hear bird calls and subtle outdoor sounds we have missed for years, or to block out annoyances like restaurant chatter that interferes with our conversation with friends.
Walter has been very helpful "tuning-up" our individual preferences and we look forward to years increased hearing capability and convenience.
