Walter Kelly Sr. has been around the hard of
hearing since 1977. After studying psychology for
6 years (undergraduate at BYU, graduate school at
Fresno State) he realized his talents would be best
put to use helping the hard of hearing.
Walter started his career by working for a well
known franchise organization and soon found
that people were not getting the individual
attention they deserved, so he started his own
business. About 6 months later he found himself
learning to repair hearing aids. Soon after, he also
learned to build hearing aids.
Twenty-three years later, his commitment to
service and speed is still as strong as ever! Walter
now holds licenses in four states (Nevada, California,
Utah and Arizona) on top of being nationally board
certified, FDA licensed, and a member of the
International Hearing Society.

Walter Kelly Jr., being a second generation hearing
instrument specialist, has been around hearing aids and
the hard of hearing since 1986. When Walter Jr. was
just 16, he started building and repairing hearing aids
for his father’s Las Vegas location. His interest in
technology and passion for helping people, has led
him to open his own hearing aid business in La Mesa,
California. He has continued to follow in his father’s
footsteps and enjoys testing, repairing, building, and
fitting hearing aids.

Cindy Houska

Cindy Houska has worked in the medical field for
28 years. Her strong ethical standards and
commitment to patient satisfaction is what drew her
to Fabulous Hearing. Cindy has lived in East County
for 20 years, and is an active member of many social
and philanthropic groups. Her outgoing and friendly
personality is a perfect addition to our Fabulous
Hearing family!

Michelle Kelly |
Michelle Kelly was born into a hearing aid family,
sister of Jr., daughter of Sr. After she graduated high
school, Michelle started as a receptionist in our San
Diego location. After several months, she decided to follow in her father and brother’s footsteps, and learned to build and repair hearing aids! She is currently mastering her hearing aid technician skills under her brother in San Diego.
