Question: What is hearing loss?
Answer: Hearing loss is a sudden or gradual decrease in how well you
can hear. Depending on the cause, it can range from mild to profound
and can be reversible, temporary, or permanent. (To read more
on hearing loss, Click Here!)
Question: How do I know if I have a hearing loss?
Answer: Ask your spouse or a loved one! Usually you are the last one
to know about your hearing loss. Your family and friends likely will
have noticed a steady decline in your responses and participation in
conversations. Some of the first signs of hearing loss are:
- Tiredness at the end of the day
- Missing the punch line
- Having trouble understanding conversations in small groups with
women, and with children.

Question: Who does my hearing loss affect?
Answer: Though your hearing loss directly affects you, it impacts your
professional and, more importantly, your personal relationships. Your
spouse’s emotional well being is attached to how well you can
communicate with each other!

Hearing Aids
Question: I know I have a hearing loss, what is the process to
correct it?
Answer: First we will perform a FREE hearing test to verify your
deficiencies at each frequency. Then we will show you your options
depending on:
- The severity of your hearing loss,
- Your aesthetic preferences,
- Your financial concerns,
- and the size of your ear canal.
If we find that the best hearing system for your particular situation is
a custom style unit (CIC, ITC, ITE, BTE), we will take impressions of
your ears, and you can have them NEXT DAY!
Or...if we find that the best hearing system for your particular
situation is one of our exclusive, nearly invisible SeboTek hearing
systems, you can walk out the door with them!!
Total, the process normally takes about an hour or less, from beginning
to end!
Question: Why don’t my friends who have hearing devices wear
them?
Answer: While we can’t speak for your friends, most difficulties can
be overcome easily with the right hearing system and a highly
experienced staff on your better hearing team. Most people that fit
hearing aids see the fitting process as a sales event. Because we are a
family operation, we see it as an adoption process! We want you to
feel like family so you will WANT to go through the hearing
rehabilitation process necessary for your success!

walk out with your repaired or new hearing aids same day!!
